Town's squad for the Sunderland game is pretty much as expected. Sixto Peralta misses out with bruising to his foot while Matt Holland will have a fitness test on his own foot injury. Marcus Stewart now seems certain be be involved to some degree against Charlton on Tuesday.

John McGreal is the only notable absentee from the squad for Boxing Day's game with Leicester at Portman Road. In the squad for the first time since the Bolton match is Ulrich Le Pen who made his comeback in the 4-0 reserves win over Chelsea last Wednesday.

A stunning first half striking display from Newcastle saw Town out of the Worthington Cup. Goals from Robert, Ameobi and two from Shearer, all before the break put the home side four-up. Darren Bent hit Town's goal late in the second half.
